As Dallas Green travels all over America and Canada (Even heading to the UK for a bit) he still has a desire to return home to where his love is, and with a rather stripped back musical track, the song is ideal to cruise along to whenever you are returning home. This song off City & Colour’s debut album is an ideal driving song for me, as it literally details someone driving all over then finally returning home. ![]() With lyrics about finding each other, the song tells a hell of a tale which not only suits the slower style of the music, but adds to it and gives it more feeling. Opening the 3rd LP Little Hell, this track gets you in the mood pretty much straight away, with wailing country style guitars and a softer feel, something which the album sells you on as you go further in. “We Found Each Other In The Dark” – Little Hell Peaking at #14 on the Canadian Alt Charts, this track was a reasonable success too and continued the great opening of the 4th LP.ĩ. Add in the wonder that is Dallas Green’s vocals and you have a surefire winner. With plenty of catchy riffs that gets you tapping along and lyrics about moving on and how it is ok to be by yourself, this song is a great motivator as it forces you to do what you really want. This list will be looking at the top 10 songs by City & Colour based on a mix between critical reception, popularity and my own personal feelings in regards to the songs. After five fantastic albums, Dallas Green continues to show that he can still craft masterpieces and these are the best of the best that he has to offer. ![]()
